The present tense is the most used one in the German language. It can be used to describe the following situations:

General rule for conjugationg the present tense:

Ending Example
1st Person Singular (ich): e ich mache
2nd Person Singular (du): st du machst
3rd Person Singular (er/sie/es/man): t er macht
1st Person Plural (wir): en wir machen
2nd Person Plural (ihr): t ihr macht
3rd Person Plural/polite form (sie/Sie): en sie machen
